Helping Others: TJ Weir on Why He Became a Financial Advisor

I have spent my whole life chasing things that I am passionate about. For many years, that passion was athletics. The thrill of competition, being part of a team, and seeing hard work pay off with good results is what kept me driven and motivated. When my athletic career came to an end, I had to find another path, something new to motivate me, another passion to chase.

That new passion is to serve people and make a difference in their lives. I come from a family of teachers and coaches. My mom taught elementary school for over 20 years, my dad coached all my youth sports teams and now coaches high school baseball, and my wife coaches high school volleyball. They’ve dedicated their lives to putting people before themselves and impacting others. As a financial advisor, I want to do the same.

My goal as an advisor is to form lasting relationships with clients. I want to help them feel comfortable and confident about a financial plan that will bring them peace of mind and happiness.

Whether you have an inheritance you’d like to invest, or need advice putting together a monthly budget, I am here to help. No client’s needs are more important than any other, and that is something I will always stand by.

I am very fortunate to join the team at Aurora Financial Strategies. It’s exciting to be part of a firm that treats people the right way and acts in the best interest of every client.
